7 ESSENTIAL VITAMINS TO BOOST FERTILITY IN WOMEN

During this infertility awareness week, I have decided to share some essential vitamins that will aid fertility for women like me struggling to conceive . It has not been an easy one for us especially most of us diagnosed with PCOS. I was only diagnosed when I got married 4years ago. If I had known the consequences of my irregular menses as a young girl, I would have been more careful with my health in terms of  the type food I consume, but am not gonna talk about me today but the  Vitamins to Boost Fertility like I earlier said.
Vitamins are simply organic compounds that are needed in small quantities to sustain human life. Most Vitamins do come from food this is because human body does not produce enough of them or it does not produce any at all. When it comes to women who are struggling  with infertility due to PCOS or any other related infertility issues, Vitamins are very very important. In as much as most of us take prenatal Vitamins, it is pertinent to note that most Prenatal does not contain some essential vitamins. This 7 vitamins have different roles and they are needed in different quantities in other to boost a fertility faster.

*FOLIC ACID: they are mostly the talked about Vitamins for Conception reasons being that it is very vital while trying to conceive as well as throughout the fertility journey . This is because is has the effect of lowering Birth defects that offen leads to miscarriages . It also increases Egg production . So if you haven't been taking folic acid to add your fertility you should start doing that immediately . You can take vitamin C as Supplement,  fruits, veggies or lean meat

-Oranges, Tangerines,
-pumpkin leaves, spinach
-Kidney or liver

*VITAMIN D: this is another powerful Vitamin that Boost Progesterone and Estrogen levels and it is said to regulate menstrual cycles. So my PCOS Cysters, get in here and other for your Vitamin D supplement of source them in foods like:
-Salmon Fish
-Sardine
-Cod Liver Oil
-Shrimps
-Egg Yolks
-Mushrooms
In a nutshell, spending time out in the sun is the best way to get your Daily Dose of Vitamin D.

*VITAMIN B12:  this vitamin is super important for Brain functions the synthesis of the Red Blood cells. B12 promotes ovulation, helps  to decrease miscarriage risk during pregnancy. B12 can be found Naturally in animal products, or fortified foods.and dietary supplements  Some of the Richest source of B12 are:
-Liver
-Beef
-Sardine
-Clams and Diary products.

*VITAMIN E:  vitamin E balance hormones as well as improves Egg quality, promotes Cellular growth Removes Free radical ,  and also decreases Risk of Miscarriage. The Imbalance Higher levels of vitamin E in the body has been shown to increase Carvical mucus which makes it easier for sperm to stay alive longer. Sources you can get your vitamin E:
-Almond seeds/milk/Oil
-Goose meat
-peanuts
-Avocado
-Red sweet pepper
-mango
-Kiwi fruits
-pumpkin seeds
-Cashew Nuts
-snails, Crafish

*VITAMIN C: since V. C is not naturally stored in the body it is recommended to get a daily dose of it, as it regulates the menstrual cycle and normal ovulation.

-Rapsberries/blackberries/strawberries
-mango
-papayas
-Guava
-cherries
-tomatoes
-Brussels sprouts

*OMEGA-3:  improves Egg quantity promotes Ovulation, and increase Carvical mucus. There is also been a research that Omega-3 can decrease the likelihood of  premature birth and preterm delivery . Sources of Omega-3:
- Mackerel /Salmon
-Seabass
-Trouts
-Flaxseed
-Walnuts
-Kidney beans

Fish oil
Cod liver oil

*VITAMIN B6:  in a nutshell, all  B vitamins are all beneficial in human body hence, B6 in particular, can help in getting pregnant as it helps in Regulating Hormones to promote regular menstrual cycles improve egg quality for fertilization  and also lengthen Luteal phase.
All these vitamins have in one way or the other have similar fruits or food in common, my candid advice is to consume a lot of fruits as it very essential to us trying to conceive. Trust me, in this few months of my journey on my personal journey on PCOS, I have seen tremendous changes in my body because of my New choice of Food.
